DECK MANUFACTURING STEP BY STEP
There are many factors that need to be combine in order to produce a high quality skateboard deck
some of them are: not to dry or brittle, right temperature and right moisture levels.
10 basic steps that need to be done old method
1) Veneer are sorted to pick out the bad ones.
2) Veneer are throughput the glue machine.
3) Veneer are layered on each other, forming seven ply.
4) Stack are placed in molds for required amount of time to form shape and dry.
5) Board shapes are cut out from the dried veneers, taken from the molds.
6) Boards are Sanded.
7) Boards are sprayed with lacquer.
8) Boards are placed on rack to dry.
9) Graphics are applied to decks.
10) Decks are shrink wrapped and packaged to ship out.
